Now the Spring is here and the weather is improving, family outings at the weekend are more appealing. The county of Cheshire, with its beautiful soft rolling countryside, has a wealth of places to visit for a fun-filled family day out. Here are a few suggestions:

Quarry Bank Mill and Styal Estate – is a fantastic industrial heritage site which shows how a complete industrial community lived. Dunham Massey -this beautiful Georgian house set in a deer park is a great place to learn about the previous owners and servants who used to live here.
